– Incluir Phaeothlypis fulvicauda (Spix, 1825) na lista principal de aves brasileiras, inserindo-a imediatamente após Phaeothlypis rivularis (Wied, 1821).Justificativa
– Phaeothlypis fulvicauda tem sido tratada como espécie distinta de P. rivularis na maioria das obras referenciais desde a década de 1960 (contra Sick (1997), muito embora esse tratamento tenha sido contestado de forma não ostensiva. Sua desvinculação de P. rivularis remonta ao trabalho de Miller (1952).Citações selecionadas:
